Orders can be delivered fairly quickly (within 24 to 48 hours) to the child’s classroom (Lower and Prep School only), or to the Preschool Reception Desk for pick up by parents, or to the Upper School Reception Desk for pick up. Please note that orders will be fulfilled by parent volunteers during regular shop hours.

The Guild Shops

Visit the Guild Shops at Bayview Glen to purchase all uniform items required by the school, with the exception of NEW blazers, tunics, and Preschool, Lower and Prep School kilts. For these new uniform items, please visit InSchoolWear, located at 10 Brentcliffe Road, East York. Gently used blazers, tunics, kilts, box-pleat skirts and other uniform pieces are sold at the Guild Shops along with many school supplies and novelty items.

Proceeds from the operation of the Guild Shops go back to the school and benefit the educational environment of our children, and now the Capital Campaign for the new Prep/Upper School. Come and support us with your purchases.

As shown above, we recommend you submit your order to the Guild Shops via the new Online Stores. Orders submitted online or by phone with Credit Card payment information will be processed and delivered to your child’s class or Mentor, ready for pick up from the Preschool Reception or at the Upper School Reception, depending on where the student is located. Order forms are also available for drop off to the specific school store and again we will arrange delivery of your purchase to your child’s class/Mentor. The Guild Shops accept the following items for resale on consignment: gently used girls and boys Bayview Glen blazers (hunter green and navy blue), girls’ kilts, tunics and grey box-pleated skirts.

We accept consignment clothing under the following conditions:

Other uniform items are also accepted by the Guild Shops as donations for resale, i.e. grey pants, vests, cardigans, ties, dress shirts, gym or house league t-shirts, mesh shorts, sweatpants and sweatshirts. Girls and boys Bayview Glen blazers, tunics, kilts and grey box-pleat skirts may also be donated.

Please note that The Guild Shops will keep your item(s) in inventory for one year. It is your responsibility to either pick up the clothing within 30 days of the above anniversary, or consider the clothing a donation.

Consignment Clothing Agreement (<--downloadable file)

Around mid-May, the Guild Shops organize Uniform Fitting and Shopping Days for all current and new students in preparation for the new School year. In addition to the extended opening hours of the shop, InSchoolWear, our uniform supplier, will also be present to assist you in the purchase of new blazers, kilts or tunics and/or other uniform items, except the gym uniform. Details are announced via the School Newsletter.

Both the Lower and Prep and Upper School Guild Shops open their doors for parents to purchase last minute uniform items before the official start of the School year. Volunteers work during the summer to restock and organize this event. Please plan your purchases ahead of time and check for details of this event via the Bayview Glen August mailing. As mentioned above, no consignment items are received during this time.

50th Anniversary Student Tea Towels On Sale in the Guild Shops

As part of the celebrations for Bayview Glen’s 50th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce the Student Tea Towel momento. Your child’s artwork or signature, along with those of their schools friends', have been printed in green (Preschool and Lower School), burgundy (Prep School) or navy blue (Upper School) on a white tea towel. 

There are eight different tea towels for sale:
1:  BG2 & BG3  
2:  JK & SK  
3:  Grades 1-3  
4:  Grades 4 & 5 
5:  Grades 6 & 7 
6:  Grade 8 (Class of 2016)
7:  Grades 9-11 
8:  Grade 12 (Class of 2012)

The tea towels are made from high-quality, washable 100% cotton (approximate dimensions 17” x 28”). These decorative tea towels are useful for drying dishes, or they can be used as gifts or wall hangings. 

Tea towels are $12 each if you order one (1) or two (2), $11 each for three (3) or four (4), $10 each for five (5) or more (HST extra).  Multiple order discounts only apply to orders of the same tea towel.
